Explanation On AIDS/HIV

Acquired immune deficiency syndrome or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is a collection of infections which occurs mostly in/on persons who have human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) even though it has not been proven that these two diseases are related.

The first reporting of the AIDS virus was made on 5 June, 1981, when the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recorded a cluster of Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia (known as PCP) in a group of homosexual men in Los Angeles, PCP is caused by a rare yeast-like fungus called Pneumocystis jirovecii (jirovecii is pronounced "yee-row-vet-zee-eye").

This syndroms of AIDS usually never occurs in a normal immune defence and that is when the HIV virus was found, the HIV virus damages the immune defence by consuming the CD4+T cell (an helper cell with is needed to control the immune defence properly).

It was first only recorded in homosexual men and the scientists named this new found disease Gay-related immune deficiency (GRID also known as the gay plague), when the sickness was later on found in heterosexual individuals the scientists began to look at this sickness in a whole new view and began to study it properly.

This sickness is spreaded through direct contact with body fluids from a infected person (e.g. blood, semen, vaginal fluid, breast milk) and through sexual contact, but the most common spreading of the HIV/AIDS is Mother To Child Transmission (MTCT) This transmission is made usually through the drinking of the mother milk. From birth it can also occur that the child is infected.

The usual time before the HIV is classified (even though they are not yet proven to be related) as AIDS is after 9-10 years. This sickness is mostly found in the sub-Saharan Africa, and that is probally because it is estimated to have its origins in the sub-Saharan Africa.

The AIDS virus weakens the person. reducing his/her life span. Median survival time of a AIDS infected person just after developing the sickness is 9,2 months.
Because of the late studies of this sickness there have been made many misconseptions on how to cure it (e.g. if you have sex with a virgin the sickness will go away (which is some rubbish and only helped the sickness being spread out)) , and let me say this now THERE IS NO CURE AGAINST AIDS, there is some few medicines you can take (most used is called highly active aniretroviral therapy (HAART)) to slow down the development of the HIV virus but it can only increase your lifespan with some years.

Therefore the best way to cure HIV/AIDS is to not gain the virus in the first place, and for this i have made a list of all normal kind of ways to get the virus.

Oral sex
Anal sex
Vaginal sex
Needle-sharing injection drug use
Blood Transfusion
Breast Milk
Birth

The most normal way to prevent these things is to use condoms for every sexual course, which will lower the rate of getting the virus to almost nothing. Kissing is not included in the list because HIV virus can be found in the saliva of the infected person but only in so small amounts that the other person would have to drink gallons of saliva before getting infected.

There have only been one recorded case where the sickness have been transmitted through kissing, and there both individuals had wound in their gums and were bleeding from their mouth under the kissing.
And that would be my explanation of the HIV/AIDS virus
